Women across the globe are generally maligned and are subjected to various degrees of intimidation, harassment, assault and discrimination. The average woman is often subjected to various dehumanizing treatments, which often leads to physiological and psychological breakdown. African societies have been adjudged as worse, with most still treating their women like in the medieval times. The painful experience start very early in life through; Sex at birth stigmatization. Neglect Genital mutilation. Forced marriages Human trafficking. Illiteracy. Sexual Harassment Political and Economic discrimination e.t.c. It is however heartwarming to note that some women have excelled and given the African woman a sense of pride despite the seemingly insurmountable obstacles. With the number condemned to live with these myriad of problems which overshadows the number of those who have crossed or will cross the obstacles; there is work to be done. The purpose of this foundation is simply to help to change the situation.
There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
